Pro-Brexit Conservative lawmaker Rees-Mogg puts forward proposals to resolve Irish border issue

Jacob Rees-Mogg, chair of the European Research Group - a faction within May’s Conservative Party, has put forward proposals to resolve Irish border issue after Brexit, which would allow cross-border Irish trade to continue with the integrity of single market safeguarded.

He further added that their proposals mean the UK will be able to develop a fully independent trade policy rather than be an EU rule taker.
