Breaking News: US 10-year T-bond yield advances to highest level since May above 3%

The 10-year US Treasury Bond yield just recently rose to its highest level in four months at 3.042% while adding 1.3% on a daily basis. Boosted by the sharp upsurge in yields, the US Dollar Index turned positive above 94.50 and was last seen up 0.1% on the day at 94.60.

Dragged by the stronger USD, the EUR/USD pair also slumped to a fresh session low of 1.1664.
