ECB: Survey of professional forecasters reveal lower growth outlook for 2018 & 2019

Below are some of the key results from the European Central Bank's (ECB) survey of professional forecasters, published this Friday.

Growth forecasts:
   •  2018 growth seen at 2.0%; down from 2.2%.
   •  2019 growth seen at 1.8%; down from 1.9%.
   •  2020 growth seen at 1.6%; unchanged.

Inflation outlook:
   •  Euro-zone HICP inflation expectations unchanged at 1.7% for 2018, 2019 and 2020; unchanged.
   •  Core inflation seen at 1.1% for 2018; down from 1.2%.
   •  Core inflation seen at 1.4% for 2019; down from 1.5%.
   •  Core inflation is seen at 1.7% for 2020; unchanged.
