US: Initial Jobless Claims fell to 323K
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to the Labour Department, the Americans that filed in their first initial claims for regular state unemployment-insurance benefits fell by 4K last week to a seasonally adjusted 323K in the week ended May 3, below expectations at 335K and coming from 327K (revised) in the previous print.
Continuing claims, which reflect people already receiving benefits, fell by 27K to a seasonally adjusted 3.005 million in the week ended April 27 vs. 3.032 million in the previous week (revised).
